Harvey hails from the Drakensberg but spent most of his childhood in Port Elizabeth. His love for games and storytelling was clear from an early age—at just 12, he was already creating maps for Delta Force: Black Hawk Down… despite being well under the game’s age restriction.

With a background in software development and years of honing his skills, he’s finally doing what he loves: crafting worlds and building his very first game. He grew up on classics like Blake Stone, Halo, and Half-Life 1. These shaped his vision for game design and inspire him.

Harvey is a problem-solver at heart and thrives on the creative and technical challenges of game development—often working into the early hours (to his sleep schedule’s utter demise).

His passion pushes the team forward, making him the driving force of Throwing Axe Studios.

Megan Bentley

Lead Artist

Born in East London in the Eastern Cape, Megan has always been fueled by a passion for art, stories, and gaming. From an early age, she found inspiration in games like Chrono Trigger, Fallout: New Vegas, and classic Pokémon titles, fostering a deep appreciation for storytelling and world-building. A self-taught digital illustrator, she mastered the use of a drawing tablet and has been commissioned to create artwork for various clients.

Beyond her artistic talent, Megan is a formidable co-op partner—whether wielding a shotgun or landing a perfectly placed crossbow shot (sometimes at her own teammates).

As co-founder of Throwing Axe Studios, her keen eye for detail and passion for immersive worlds make her an invaluable part of the team.
